An interesting change removing subclass locking, as that seemed like a major part of leveling a character.

I too am glad that agility was given more weight. Differences should be visible between levels of agility when doing a foot race. Previously I had not felt I could notice major differences between the three classes and their agility. 

 

As a future Defender, its nice to have confirmation that Ward of Dawn will have an immediate health regeneration effect.

The one thing that I noticed is about marks... From the wording it seems that until you reach lvl 18 you wont be collecting marks at all... So no real need to worry about pvp until around those levels.

But I believe PvP still awards you experience and loot, so not a complete waste. Though not the most efficient way to level.

True, plus it seems they upped the reward chances from PVP so it won't be too bad to play around

Summary:
The latest patch for Destiny reduces the difficulty of a number of activities, as well as fixes issues when completing the Vault of Glass.

Activities

Missions
  • Shrine of Oryx: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers
  • Sword of Crota: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers
  • Exclusion Zone: Reduced difficulty by removing majors from Heroic tiers

Raids
  • Dropping the relic at the end of the raid will no longer result in a team wipe. This will prevent players being stuck at a black screen after the raid.
  • You will remain dead if you were dead when the mission ended. That will be addressed by a future patch.
